Welcome
Hello! I’m Aliena. I am an artist, mother and change maker.
As a guide and space holder, I have come to other find myself in spaces rich with people, stories and often struggles. As a fiber artist I am in love with fusing different elements and textures into my work. As a young girl I found I had the patience to undo even the most complicated knots and restore balance to seemingly hard problems. Buddhism found me as a troubled teen and its seeds have since impacted my mind and my daily practices. Offering me mindfulness and presence in an often complicated world.
Thus this space was created where we fuse these two concepts together and find our way through.
Interwoven, describes how individual fibers twist together to create something stronger. Metaphorically, it represents the complex way our stories and ideas connect to form a whole.
Dharma, also meaning truth, or one's path to liberation in the Buddhist context.
